What Is Tool & Die?

Tool & Die encapsulates the people and equipment involved in the precision manufacturing process.  At a high level, it is responsible for the incredible growth of civilizations around the world and modern products as mass production and automation has made way for cost effective products and technologies.  Tool & Die Makers (Oftentimes having served a multi-year apprenticeship following years of machining experience) are responsible for helping turn raw material into the products we all love today.  The custom equipment made to hold, cut, punch, bend or otherwise change form are known as tools and dies.
