Moore Tool & Die, LLC was founded by Richard Moore in 2016. After serving a formal apprenticeship and achieving the designation of Journeyman Tool & Die Maker, he also obtained his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from San Francisco State University. He has over 40 years experience designing and building complex progressive dies used to produce parts for notable fortune 500 companies like Tesla Motors, Apple, Cisco, Varian, Hewlett Packard, and SEL to name a few. Richard has an extensive background in materials and mechanical engineering. He has successfully worked with many companies to develop, prototype, test, and verify components in preparation for high volume manufacturing. Complex progressive dies utilizing in-die tapping, mechanical spindles, sensors, assembly, and mechatronics are his specialties.
After obtaining his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Arizona, Ryan Moore served as a highly accomplished Sales Engineer – Team Leader for Ingersoll-Rand in Phoenix, Arizona. On a foundation of operational excellence and an unwavering commitment to quality and exceeding customer expectations, Ryan carries a passion for the place his family calls home here in Gilbert, Arizona.
